Understanding the Power of God's Timing

Sometimes, we feel like things should happen right now. We make plans, and we want things to happen on our time. But God's timing is different. God doesn’t hurry, and He doesn’t follow our schedules. He knows the perfect time for everything in our lives, even when we don’t understand it.

For example, when God promised Abraham and Sarah they would have a child, they were very old. It took many years, but they trusted God. And just when it seemed too late, God gave them a son, Isaac, just like He said. This story shows us that God’s plans don’t always happen when we think they should, but they always happen at the perfect time.

Another example is Joseph. Joseph was treated badly by his brothers, and he went through many hard times, including being in prison. But everything he went through helped prepare him for a big job in Egypt. Sometimes, we might feel stuck or that things are taking too long, but God is using those moments to get us ready for something special.

When we trust in God's timing, we’re saying that we believe He is always working behind the scenes for our good. We might not see it right away, but we can be sure that God is always at work.

Reframing Our Perspective on Endings

As the month of May comes to an end, we might think about the things we didn’t get to do. Maybe we didn’t finish all the tasks we planned, or maybe we’re feeling disappointed. But endings are not something to be sad about—they can be a chance for something new.

The Bible says, "To everything, there is a season," (Ecclesiastes 3:1). That means there’s a time for everything—good and bad—and every season prepares us for the next one. Instead of being sad that May is over, we can think about what we learned and how we can use it in the next season of life.

When we look at the end of something, we don’t need to focus on what we didn’t do. We can focus on what we’ve learned and how God is getting us ready for what’s coming next.

Embracing the Launchpad Mentality

As May ends, let’s not think of it as a “goodbye” but as a “jumpstart” into the next month. The last few days of May are like a springboard, getting us ready for the new things God has planned for us in June.

One way to do this is by setting goals. Think about what you want to do or achieve in June—whether it's growing in faith, being kind, or helping others. Writing down your goals will give you something to look forward to and work toward.

Also, think about your prayers. What have you prayed for, and what has God already done for you? Now is a great time to thank Him and ask Him to help guide you into the next month.

Another important part of this is making your faith stronger. You can do this by reading the Bible, praying with others, or going to church. Being around people who love God will help you stay strong and ready for whatever June brings.

Walking in Confidence and Expectation

As we step into June, let’s walk with confidence—knowing that God has great plans for us. We might not always see the next step clearly, but when we trust God, we can walk with hope, even when things feel uncertain.

Praying is a powerful way to stay confident. Talk to God every day about your hopes and the things you’re unsure about. Ask Him to help you see what He has planned for you in June.

Also, remember that you’re not alone. Surround yourself with friends and family who encourage you and pray with you. Together, you can face whatever comes next with faith and courage.

Finally, keep a journal to write down what God is doing in your life. When you look back, you’ll see how faithful God has been and how He’s been working in ways you didn’t even see at the time.

Final Thought:
As you step into June, walk with confidence knowing that God’s timing is perfect, He’s preparing you for something great, and every ending is just the beginning of a new season.
